The NS Eggbutt with a Tranz Angled Mouthpiece basically helps to keep the contact you achieve steadier and more consistent, by allowing the horse to be much more stable in his mouth, and really take the rein forwards, rather than not at all! However, the difference between this bit and the older style Eggbutt is that it does not allow the horse to fix against you, and still maintains the feel between horse and rider.
