TN-185-21-BLACK

This tailored bridle has been the designed with ultimate style by Klaus Balkenhol, and not only is it incredibly stylish, but it also features some incredibly elements that help to  maximise comfort for the horse. For example, it has a cutaway headpiece, and a slip and padded headpiece which are carefully positioned to disperse poll pressure much more evenly compared to other bridles. The bridle also has an oversized browband, which gives more ear clearance, and really decreases nerve pressure. As well as the headpiece, the bridle also has a soft padded noseband. You can really be assured of the quality of this bridle, as we have tried and tested this bridle ourselves and found the quality of the leather excellent- it has withstood daily use for several years really well and maintains it's looks and integrity where other bridles may 'tire'. It can still be cleaned up to look smart enough for competition yet cope with everyday wear and tear. Although don't forget to look after all your leather work- it is an investment in its future!

How do you know if the Throatlash is fitted correctly?

The throatlash must not be tight, as it will interfere with breathing and collection. To ensure comfort there should be enough room to place a clenched fist between the side of the horse's cheek and throatlash.

Where shoud the Buckles for the cheek pieces sit?

The buckles of the cheek pieces and noseband should be parallel and slightly below the corner of the eye (to avoid damage in the event of the bridle pulling across the face), and the arms of the cheeks and noseband must lie behind the horse’s cheek bones.

How should i fit the noseband correctly?

The noseband must lie at least one finger or 1cm below the cheekbones, as this is another pressure point area. If the noseband is placed too high on the face it can cause great pain.
