Trust Neue Schule to innovate in regard to bit technology. With the horse's interest always at heart, they have designed a bit to improve communicate and enhance performance.

We were very excited to receive the first bits in - so were our customers! It feels quite different to the normal Neu Schule and indeed any other bit, with it's flat underside - aswell as offering a larger bearing surface, it takes up less room in the horse's mouth than having a thicker mouthpiece - always traditionally perceived as the milder option.

The Turtle Top™ link cannot 'rise up' and strike the into the upper palate due to it's unique design, the whole bit sits further back in the mouth which negates the temptation to over tighten the cheek pieces and the resulting improvement in bit positioning only enhances the signals being transmitted down the reins.

The central link shape gives the bit it's "Turtle" name - Always keep the Turtle upright when fitting!
